Add your new comment format to the Insert menu for easy access

In our main article titled “Post a date/time stamp on your comments automatically” we showed you a macro that inserts a comment with the current date and time. This technique lets you track your comments more easily. Instead of simply seeing who added a comment, you can also see when the user added the comment.
But you don’t want to open the Macros dialog box each time you want to use this modified comment format. Instead, here’s how you can add it to your Insert menu right below the built-in Comment item, as shown in Figure A. And for Excel 2007 users, you can add the macro to your Quick Access Toolbar (QAT).

Add your macro as a new menu item and put it near the familiar built-in Comment item.
